We are seeking three enthusiastic applicants for our Horticultural Apprenticeship Programme.
As an a apprentice you will join Hillingdon Council's Green Spaces team, a team of dedicated award winners. You will be working as part of this team to ensure an excellent service is delivered to our residents and other customers.

No two days at Hillingdon are the same, and you will complete your apprenticeship and gain the experience and qualifications sought by future employers to push your CV to the top of the pile.
As an apprentice we offer both practical and classroom based learning in a wide variety of horticultural tasks including, grass cutting, sports maintenance, bedding displays, shrub and hedge maintenance.

We welcome people of all ages to take advantage of our apprenticeship programme. Whether you are at the beginning of your professional career or re-entering the workforce, we want to hear from you!
Our three successful candidates will earn £9,402 annual salary (equivalent to £180 per week) - and also receive a generous holiday allowance! (Please note that pay intervals are monthly).
About the person
We are looking for individuals who are interested in starting a career in Horticulture and also anyone who maybe looking to change careers or looking to get back to work.
You will have a pro-active approach to work, be conscientious, flexible, customer focused and enjoy working as part of a team.
You will be required to attend college as part of your learning and development to obtain a City and Guilds Level 2 qualification in Horticulture.
If you have a keen interest in gardening and Horticulture and are looking to broaden your Horticultural experience, we would be delighted to hear from you!
