Job Title: Account Manager (Catering)

Reporting to: Regional Catering Development Controller 

Based: Sunbury

Do you love working with customers to help them develop their businesses? Do you have a background working in catering? We are looking for someone who can work closely with the general manager of one of our wholesale branches to identify opportunities to work with existing and new catering customers to grow and develop their businesses. A catering customer could be a restaurant, a bar, an event caterer ... even a burger van. Basically any business that prepares and sells food.

You will have experience building incremental sales and margin across multiple sales solutions (Cash and Carry, Delivery and Internet) and an adaptive, solution focused sales approach. You will be a fundamental part of the branch sales strategy and instrumental in supporting the branch to achieve their sales targets.

Focusing on high-potential customers. You will manage a portfolio of customers, spending time in the field as well as in the branch. Visiting existing and potential new customers to develop sales and margin – up selling and cross selling to suit customer needs.

You will work over a 5 day week which may include occasional weekends and bank holidays.
